21 Day Journey+ Intro Journey to All Parts of Me Foundational Journey begins November 1st

Show Notes

It’s exciting to see so many professionals starting to talk about the mind-body connection and how important it is. But I’ve noticed that often, people aren’t sure exactly what that means!

Today, we are going to be diving deep into the liver and how that is connected to trauma work. Not only the liver, but we will also be diving into the gut, brain, and adrenal glands as well.

I have invited my friend Dr. Ameet Aggarwal to join me for this conversation. Dr. Ameet is a naturopathic physician who combines functional medicine, Gestalt psychotherapy, Family Constellation therapy, EMDR, homeopathy, and Somatic Experiencing. Dr. Ameet has also been voted as one of the top 43 innovative and naturopathic clinicians in the world.

In this episode, Dr. Ameet will help answer the question of: What do professionals need to know about the liver for trauma work? The episode will cover the foundational principles of the mind-body connection, and then will take a deep dive into 4 organs and how they are impacted by trauma, as well as how they affect the body’s trauma response itself.

You’ll learn:

  • The gut/digestive system
  • The adrenal glands
  • The brain
  • The liver
