I am so glad you are considering taking this journey with me, because the results and transformation will help you have the power to finally be who you want to be.

I am excited to give you even more tools that are essential to you on your trauma healing journey. Parts work is one of the three areas we need to address, and will help you understand yourself on a deeper level and show up in the world in the way you were meant to.

Parts Work Is An Essential Ingredient To The Integrated Approach

There are three ingredients to reach our full capacity and full potential, and we need all three in an integrated approach – somatic work, parts work, and biology work.

Parts work (also known as Internal Family Systems) is where we really get to know ourselves and gently challenge our limiting thoughts and beliefs that hold us back.

Who Is The Introduction Journey Into All Parts Of Me For?

This course is for you if...

  • You want to take your somatic practice and trauma work to the next level.
  • You realize the value of doing things gently and at a pace that feels safe and your body is ready for.
  • You have a foundational skill set with a somatic practice and know how to recognize which state of the nervous system you are in.
  • You still experience emotional states (freeze or stress) or are engaging in behaviors and coping mechanisms that you don’t want to be doing anymore, and are interested in changing that to have a better tomorrow.
  • You want to have the structure, roadmap and support for continuing the effective body-based (somatic) work you’ve started.
  • You are ready to effectively rewire your nervous systems to stay consistently in the parasympathetic state.

What Are The Details Of The Journey?

Here is the journey, step by step

Week 1

Being Present

Our first week focuses on being present for this journey and for our parts: being present with our thoughts, sensations, posture, and behaviors. We examine who we want to be and who is on our bus.

Week 2

Being “Good Enough”

In our second week, we focus on being good enough instead of perfect. Our parts don't need us to be perfect in connecting with them. We will dive into our coping mechanisms and examine what we notice when we track parts in our body.

Week 3

Being Personally Responsible

Our third week focuses on being personally responsible in our leadership with our parts: listening to them, leading them, allowing for playfulness, and handling conflict between our parts. Week 3 closes with moving toward our true and whole self.

Your Biology of Trauma® & Somatic Coach, Dr. Aimie Apigian

Dr. Aimie Apigian, MD MS MPH is the leading medical expert on how life experiences get stored in the body and restoring the body to its best state of health through her signature model and methodology, The Biology of Trauma®.

Dr. Aimie shares:

“Drawn to foster care and hurting children, I fostered and then adopted a 4-year-old boy during medical school. Bringing with him the trauma that he had experienced in his early years, he ultimately challenged every aspect of my way of thinking, my medical training, and even my spiritual beliefs.

Fueled by how my life has been affected by attachment trauma beginning with my father and needing to address my own insecure attachment patterns, my purpose is to share what I have learned to accelerate the healing journey of attachment trauma of others.”

Dr. Aimie Apigian, MD, MS, MPH, is a Board-Certified Preventive Medicine physician with a Masters in Biochemistry and a Masters in Public Health. She is an author, speaker and founder of Trauma Healing Accelerated, LLC and Family Challenge Camps.

After a few years in a general surgery residency in Portland, OR, Dr. Aimie decided to forge her career path as a Trauma, Attachment and Addiction Medicine Physician. She believes the healing journey can be accelerated through evidence-based tools and approaches to rewire the nervous system and the effects of chronic stress and trauma on the mind and body. Having both parented children with effects from attachment and trauma issues and then having her own health challenges from chronic stress and traumas, she is intensely invested in finding what actually works practically and how to restore the body to its highest potential for health optimizing the biology.

In addition to her medical training, she is also a Functional Medicine physician and has training and certifications specifically in neuro-autoimmunity, nutrition and genetics for addictions, mental health, and mood and behavioral disorders.

She has a number of certifications in various trauma therapies including the Instinctual Trauma Response Model (an art trauma therapy), Somatic Experiencing (developed by Dr. Peter Levine), and NeuroAffective Touch (Dr. Aline LaPierre). Dr. Aimie enjoys bridging the gap between what she sees happening in these trauma therapies and a person’s biology and nervous system.

All of your purchases from Trauma Healing Accelerated are donated to the nonprofit Family Challenge Camps, in order to invest in our children and their healing for a better future.
